All workshops are open to all levels of practitioners:
1. THE CORE, SPINE & BREATH CONNECTION
This workshop will deepen your knowledge and understanding of body mechanics by unlocking two key parts – the spine and the core. Learn how to strengthen the spine by activating your core to create conscious efficient movement in the body through breath.
2. THE COMMON MISALIGNMENTS IN YOGA
The style of yoga you choose to practice is irrelevant – the principles are the same. This interactive workshop is designed to explore what it feels like to be in a yoga posture the right and the wrong way.
Angie invites participants to demonstrate postures which they struggle with while she safely realigns their bodies. This will build new muscle memory to be in the posture the correct way. This fun and informative workshop will shift the way you move.
3. THE SIX KEYS IN ELIMINATING DISEASE IN THE BODY
There are 6 fundamental principles that work hand-in-hand with your hot yoga practice.
1. Oxygenate.
2. Hydrate
3. Movement
4. Reduce stress
5. Elimination of toxins
6. Lighten your diet
This workshop is a thorough discussion on how these 6 keys will prevent the onset of disease in the body, thus creating a solid foundation for good health.
4. LEARN THE TOOLS TO SHIFT YOUR BIKRAM PRACTICE
Learn all the things you need to know but will never learn in a 90 minute class.
More than 20 years of practicing all styles of yoga has catapulted Angie into so much more than a Bikram instructor. Angie is a passionate teacher who shares her guidelines and speaks about this disciplined practice, which proves to be more mentally challenging than physical. Angie invites you to bring all your questions about Bikram yoga to be answered in this workshop.
5. POSTURE CLINICS
Working through every posture in a Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram or Sculpt yoga sequence.
Corrections and modifications are shared and discussed. Hands on adjustments are offered and mirrors are used so that students can not only feel, but see what the postures look like. Building body awareness and attention to detail of each asana.
6. UNDERSTANDING THE ENERGY WHEELS OF YOUR BODY
Learn to distinguish which systems of the body correlate with which chakras. This fun and interactive workshop is designed for everybody and will teach you how to recognise in others, which chakras are operating on high or low frequency just by observing someone's presence. An introduction to Reiki is explored.
